# Notifications

> Control which emails and updates Promptr sends you.

Promptr sends email notifications to keep you informed about activity in your workspaces. You can enable or disable each category independently, and choose how often to receive them.

Access notification settings from **Settings → Notifications** in the [Promptr app](https://app.promptr.ai).

## Email notifications

Each toggle controls a specific category of email. Changes save automatically.

    Receive emails when your workspace changes, for example when a new member joins, an invitation is sent or accepted, or a member's role changes.

    **Default:** On

  <Accordion title="Content updates">
    Receive emails when blocks or spaces that you created are edited or deleted by a teammate.

    **Default:** Off
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Product updates">
    Receive Promptr product announcements, new feature releases, and tips.

    **Default:** On
  </Accordion>

To toggle a notification category:

  <Step title="Open Settings">
    Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner and select **Settings**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go to Notifications">
    Select the **Notifications** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Toggle the categories you want">
    Click the toggle next to each category. The change saves instantly with no confirmation needed.

## Delivery frequency

Control how quickly Promptr emails you when a notification is triggered.

  <Tab title="Instant">
    Promptr sends an email as soon as the event occurs. Use this if you want real-time awareness of workspace activity.

    This is the default.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Daily digest">
    Promptr batches your notifications and sends a single summary email once per day. Use this to reduce inbox noise.
  </Tab>

To change your frequency:

  <Step title="Open Settings → Notifications">
    Scroll to the **Delivery Frequency** section.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select a frequency">
    Choose **Instant** or **Daily digest**. Your preference saves immediately.
  </Step>

<Note>
  The delivery frequency applies to all notification categories. You cannot set different frequencies for different categories.
