Spaces are containers for memory blocks. Organize your AI content by client, project, or team.
A Space is a container for memory blocks. You give it a name and an icon, and use it to group related blocks together by client, project, department, or any structure that makes sense for your work.Every Space belongs to exactly one Workspace. Blocks inside a Space inherit the workspace’s tags and are accessible to anyone with permission to view that Space.
When you create a Space, you choose its visibility. You can change this later from the Space settings.
Shared
Visible to all members of the workspace. Use Shared spaces for content your entire team should be able to browse and use: brand guidelines, client context, shared prompt libraries.
Private
Only accessible to you (the creator) and any workspace members you explicitly add. Use Private spaces for personal drafts, works-in-progress, or content not meant for the whole team.
Private Spaces are not hidden from workspace owners by default on team workspaces. If you need to control access carefully, manage the member list on the Space directly. Members added to a Private Space can view and use its blocks.
For Shared Spaces, all workspace members automatically have access. No additional steps required. For Private Spaces, you manage access through the Space’s member list:
1
Open the Space
Navigate to the Space you want to manage.
2
Open member settings
Select Manage members from the Space settings menu.
3
Add members
Search for workspace members by name and add them. Added members can immediately browse and use the blocks in the Space.
Removing a member from a Private Space revokes their access immediately.
When you complete onboarding, Promptr gives you access to the Starter Library, a curated collection of 50+ pre-built context blocks covering social media, email campaigns, ad copy, blog posts, and more. These are ready to use on day one and fully customizable. The Starter Library is included in your workspace as a shared space. You can copy, edit, or reorganize its blocks at any time. The Team plan unlocks 100+ templates.
A Space always belongs to one workspace. You cannot move a Space between workspaces, though you can move individual blocks from one Space to another within the same workspace. When you switch workspaces, you see that workspace’s Spaces and blocks. Content from other workspaces is not visible until you switch back.See Workspaces for more on how workspaces are structured.
