Billing is per workspace, not per user. Each team workspace has its own independent subscription. A single Promptr account can own or belong to multiple workspaces, each billed separately.
Plans
Promptr has two plans:Free
€0 / month, forever. Includes unlimited private spaces, unlimited memory blocks, the browser extension, ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini support, and 50+ Starter Library templates. No credit card required.
Team
€19 / month (founder pricing, normally €39). Flat rate, unlimited users. Adds shared spaces, roles and permissions, 100+ Starter Library templates, and priority support.
Managing billing
Only the workspace owner can view and manage billing. Members see a message directing them to contact their workspace owner.1

Click your workspace name in the sidebar, then select Settings.
2
Go to the Billing tab
Select the Billing tab to see your current plan, payment method, and invoice history.
3
Make changes
Use the Change, Update, or View all buttons to open the Polar billing portal, where you can update your payment method, billing details, and plan.
Free trial
New team workspaces start with a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required to start. When your trial ends:- If you have not added a payment method, the workspace is paused and you lose access to team features.
- You can add a payment method at any time during or after the trial to reactivate the workspace.
Subscription statuses
You may see one of these statuses in the Billing tab:Upgrading to a team workspace
You have two paths to create a team workspace: Start with a trial: When you create a new team workspace, a 14-day trial begins automatically. You can invite members and use all team features immediately. Add a payment method before the trial ends to avoid interruption. Subscribe directly: If you have already used a trial on a previous workspace, new team workspaces require an active subscription from the start. You will complete a Polar checkout before the workspace is created. What happens when access is blocked
If your subscription lapses (trial expired, payment overdue, or canceled), Promptr shows a blocked overlay instead of your workspace content. The message you see depends on the reason:
As the workspace owner, you see a Manage billing button that takes you directly to your billing settings to resolve the issue.
As a member, you see a message to contact your workspace owner.
