Access your profile settings by clicking your avatar or name in the bottom-left corner of the Promptr app, then selecting Settings.

Display name

Your display name is shown to teammates across workspaces. Promptr stores this as your preferred name, separate from the name tied to your sign-in account.

Open Settings

Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner and select Settings.

Update your name

In the Full name field, type your preferred display name.

Save

Click outside the field. Your name saves automatically on blur.

Profile photo

Your profile photo appears as your avatar throughout the app.

Open Settings

Navigate to Settings from the bottom-left menu.

Click your avatar

Hover over your current photo or initials placeholder and click the camera icon.

Choose a file

Select any image file from your device. The photo uploads and updates immediately.
If you haven’t uploaded a photo, Promptr shows the first letter of your display name as a placeholder.

Email address

Your email address is shown in your profile and used for sign-in and notifications. It is read-only. Email changes are not yet available. If your email is verified, a Verified badge appears next to your address.

Password

If you signed up with an email and password, you can update your password from the Profile section.

Click Change next to your password

The password change form expands inline.

Enter your current password

Type your existing password to confirm your identity.

Enter and confirm your new password

Your new password must be at least 8 characters. Retype it to confirm.

Click Update password

Your password updates immediately and the form closes.

Timezone

Promptr uses your timezone for scheduling-related features. By default, it detects your local timezone automatically.

Open the timezone picker

In the Timezone field, click the dropdown.

Select your timezone

Choose from the list. Your selection saves instantly.

Appearance

Control how Promptr looks on your device. The theme setting is stored per-user and applies across all your workspaces.

Light

Always display Promptr in light mode, regardless of your system setting.

Dark

Always display Promptr in dark mode, regardless of your system setting.

System

Automatically match your device’s light or dark mode preference. This is the default.
To change your theme:

Open Settings and go to Appearance

Select the Appearance tab in Settings.

Choose a theme

Click Light, Dark, or System. The interface updates immediately.

Danger Zone

Deleting your account

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
Before you can delete your account, you must transfer ownership or delete any workspaces where you are the sole owner. Promptr will show you a list of affected workspaces if this applies to you.

Open Settings → Profile

Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom.

Click Delete account

The button is disabled if you are the sole owner of any workspace.

Confirm deletion

Type DELETE in the confirmation field and click Delete account.
When your account is deleted:
  • Workspaces where you are the sole owner are permanently deleted.
  • You are removed from workspaces where others are also owners or members.
